Board of Directors

The Farragut West Knox Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors is comprised of a broad spectrum of corporate and community leaders governed by an Executive Board of offi cers. Each board member is affi liated with a member business in good standing. These volunteers provide overall support and guidance to help ensure the chamber’s success and fulfi llment of the FWKCC’s mission statement–to strengthen, promote

encourage member success. Directors are chosen because they exhibit the values that the chamber holds in high regard: Integrity, Excellence, Stewardship, Inclusion and an Enterprising spirit.

“Be so good they can’t ignore you.” – Steve Martin

It’s one of my favorite quotes when it comes to serving customers and clients. Even better is that it very appropriately applies to our Chamber: our extraordinary staff , this wonderfully committed Board of Directors who graciously let me chair, our productive committees, engaging ambassadors, essential volunteers, and exceptional members. It’s astonishing how much we have been able to accomplish so far this year, and the status we have attained in the metro area for being “unapologetically pro-business” in our support of our members and community at large!

I am so proud to serve this chamber as Board of Directors Chair. I am Christine proud that this Chamber has continued to serve our members in a variety of Dean ever-evolving and expanding ways; striving to always provide great value in Chair membership. We are the chamber that gets out into the community, encourages face-to-face networking, champions true connections and relationships, and weighs all decisions against our mission and values – our anchor that fastens us through the ebb and fl ow of an uncertain world.

If you are a current member business, thank you for your support and participation! If you are not, I encourage you to meet us and consider joining - both to grow your own business, but to also help us foster economic success throughout our community into the future.

As a member of the Executive Board, I am extremely proud of how our Chamber continues to pivot in a changing economy, and of our commitment to be a constant support and dedicated resource for our business members and community. Together, our board is committed to being engaged with our member businesses to gain feedback, so that we can quickly adjust or create programs and membership benefi ts to meet the needs of all businesses. Being a banker for 30 years, I know a thriving small business sector is key to successful economic development, and to community growth and prosperity. It is personally important to me to be involved with a Chamber that is making an impact; this is where I fi nd value in my membership. I continue to be amazed by the tremendous engagement from our members. I would encourage all current members to invite other colleagues to join our Chamber or attend an event—they will not be disappointed. Our Chamber staff , ambassador team, and Board are ready to welcome, onboard and facilitate connections. The future is bright, and I look forward to continued business growth, new relationships, and a thriving Farragut West Knox community. Angela Harvey Vice Chair
