TEST & GO PROGRAM

TEST & GO PROGRAM

TEST & GO PROGRAM Thailand is open to fully vaccinated travellers from any country or territory worldwide! Under the country’s “Test & Go” program, international visitors need to take a few simple steps to prepare for their trip in advance. Firstly, they need to apply for a Thailand Pass within 60 days of their planned departure date. Once this is approved, guests will receive a QR Entry Code (or Thailand Pass ID) which needs to be presented upon entering the Kingdom. Each visitor also needs to have adequate insurance coverage and book and pay for their accommodation at an SHA Extra Plus certified hotel or resort in advance, including a PCR test upon arrival and a pre-arranged transfer from the airport to the hotel. Having spent the first night of their trip in the accommodation and receiving a negative PCR test result, the guest will be free to travel anywhere in the country! Another self-test needs to be taken on the fifth day, but this can be quickly and independently submitted by the guest via an app. Please note that these protocols are subject to change, so every traveller is advised to check the latest rules and regulations from the Tourism Authority of Thailand (TAT). Click here for the latest updates! From Khao Lak to Phuket, every property featured in this article is SHA Extra Plus certified, which means that travellers can book them for their first night or an extended break in Thailand.
