HOW DOES ISGF COMMUNICATE? ISGF and Showing the good work and the member benefits of our organization is to show videos. YouTube allows us to upload videos of our members talking about our organization’s benefits and the good work that we do worldwide. We need your help. You Tube will provide ISGF a better link to the You Tube ISGF channel when we have reached 100 subscribers. The only thing you need to do is to subscribe when you watch an ISGF video via this link: https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCJVDFhPCNFdf2jKiYzs0XOw With so much new content being uploaded every day to YouTube, it can be easy to lose track of when ISGF post a new video you may be interested in. Subscribing to a YouTube channel is sort of like subscribing to a magazine -- new content by users you're subscribed to shows up on your YouTube home page, so you see it immediately instead of having to hunt for it. If you no longer want to get updates from our ISGF channel, you can unsubscribe directly from the channel itself or from the page for a specific video. Hover your mouse over the "Subscribed" button so that it turns into a red "Unsubscribe" video and click it. So subscribe to our YouTube ISGF channel to get the most out of YouTube.

ISGF and During the last ISGF World Committee meeting in March 2017 the members definitely decided to change from a Facebook Group to a Facebook Page for the following reasons: -

After having experienced an ISGF FB Group for more than 6 years it was time for a change. A Facebook Group is attached to the personal profile, and using the profile picture of the group administrator. Since 2015 we had discussions to change the setting of the Facebook. Pages can create content that comes from the Page itself, and linked to the administrator. A FB Page is more public so much better for ISGF visibility. Once a visitor has liked a Page they will be kept posted about ISGF. On a Page it is still possible to inform, put news, announce events and publish photos. The administrators can view statistics about the growth and the activities on the Page, number of likes; shares etc. Administrators are not visible on a FB Page but they are there to monitor the Page. Visitors of a Page become members simply by “liking” the Page. No interaction from the administrator is required. Moreover FB Pages will show up in Google searches.

We recommend all NSGF’s, CB groups and Regions to start a FB group or page instead of investing in a website. ISGF can link to these Pages or Groups via her website. Verna Lopez, Leny Doelman, Ronald de Rosa Spierings, Administrators of the Facebook page https://www.facebook.com/isgf.1953

WOSM and ISGF Last May, we informed you that after deep consideration, WOSM and ISGF came to the conclusion that a Joint Statement was no more required because ISGF is granted the Consultative Status. For further information about the criteria and obligations as to the consultative status : http://www.isgf.org/index.php/en/partner ships/128-wosm-world-organization-ofthe-scout-movement However, we consider important to clarify that each three years, the World Scout Committee review the granting of the Consultative Status. In light of this, ISGF is required to submit a comprehensive report on the ISGF’s support provided to WOSM and its NSO for the last triennial period. Therefore, we call for your entire cooperation to keep informed the ISGF World Bureau of all your actions implemented, whatever they are financial support, advices given, practical support during their activities or their events etc.
