THE WEDDING OF PEGGY PHAN & KYLE BARNAS
“It was important to us to host a Chinese tea ceremony where we could pay respects to our extended family as they wished us good fortune in return. I wore a traditional red and gold cheongsam and we served tea to our relatives as they handed us li xi (red envelopes with money inside) or adorned us with gold jewelry, as is tradition.”

ONE THING I LEARNED
“It’s important to take time for yourself and take breaks throughout the planning process. Also, it’s important to take time out of planning with your significant other where you don’t talk about the wedding day logistics, but rather focus on your future together.”
My Favorite Memory
“Our favorite memory of the day was the private dinner we had during the second half of cocktail hour. It allowed us to get away from the hustle and bustle of the reception area while everyone mingled and drank. I highly recommend that everyone has a private dinner so that you can enjoy having a few moments to yourselves, especially since the entire day flies by!”
