“One of my favorite memories comes after my dad gave his speech, when Kyle and I took the microphone to say a quick thank you. We had planned to thank our parents, our vendors and the guests who had traveled to come celebrate with us. I distinctly remember the moment I looked up and saw all of our guests looking back at me –all of these people from various stages of our lives who were important to us in different ways made it a priority to make us feel loved and supported. I just felt so grateful at that moment, and I honestly struggled with what to say. But, I’ll always remember that view and be thankful for it.”
