EASTER EXCITEMENT: Horsham City Oval will transform into a field of Easter eggs on Good Friday, all for a good cause. The annual Good Friday Appeal Easter Egg Hunt, sponsored by Bendigo Bank, will feature face painting, egg and spoon race and jumping castle. The Easter Bunny is also likely to make an appearance. Children need to register for the 11am hunt with a gold coin donation, which will go to the Royal Children’s Hospital. Gates open at 10am. Ruby Parish, Sarah Miller and Hudson Miller, are pictured getting ready for the egg hunt. St Brigid’s College students will also host a baking stall at the egg hunt, raising money in honour of their friend Cory Panozzo. Full story, page 7. Picture: MICK SHANNON
