IN THIS ISSUE
• Mining milestone • Fishing comp change • On The Bite • Festivals, plays and performances Rev John McMahon shows youngsters Samuel and James Rodda of Horsham the Triumph Daytona 675 he races on Phillip Island’s Grand Prix circuit. Rev McMahon, former Australian MotoGP and World Superbikes chaplain, was in the Wimmera-Mallee with his MOTOV8 program to help inspire young people to make positive life choices. The MOTOV8 team took its message to Warracknabeal and Hopetoun youngsters before inviting motorcycling enthusiasts to present their machines at a show and shine finale at Wimmera Trade Training Centre in Horsham. Rev McMahon uses his personal transformation story from being a troubled teenager caught up in gangs, drugs and violence to run the program. He draws on the principles of motorcycle racing in delivering his message. Picture: DEAN LAWSON
