LUXBEE ENTERPRISE SDN. BHD LUXBEE Enterprise Sdn. Bhd is a construction and design practice specialised in GRC, GRP and precast external facade cladding established in 1989. Leading by a team of skilled and dedicated members, LUXBEE manages to handle projects in diﬀerent scale and value. The company is also expanded for activities from current general building contractor to a specialist ﬁeld of design, fabrication complete with installation of decorative pre-cast or cast at site classical ornamental architrave, decorative GFRC cladding, mural, sunscreen, grilles for projects and distribution to appointed dealers.

After ﬁnishing his Part II studies in the UK, he worked as a architectural assistant Part II in Squire & Partners (UK), Quill Group of Companies(MY), ONG & ONG PTE LTD(SG) before being an Architecture Designer in LUXBEE Enterprise Sdn Bhd. He is now a project coordinator as well as doing general oﬃce work, drafting and supervisor work on site.

By having the opportunity to assist in producing CNC drawings for various projects, I have learn about the production of CNC products. The drawings are produced according to speciﬁc requirements for the machine router to cut out the drawings into products of diﬀerent size and shapes.

parametric facade By having the opportunity to produce parametric facade prototypes to be possibly installed on the front facade of the company, I get to explore new software : Rhino and Grasshopper to develop various prototypes. 2104 MJ24 Location : Bangsar, Kuala Lumpur(Malaysia) Project Status : Submission Stage The design proposal for this renovation of a double storied house is for an engaged couple as their home for their new family. The design concept of the house is of contemporary style with clean and modernistic interior design. I was handed the project in Schematic Design Stage so I got to assist in producing the design drawings, 3D drawings and attend meeting with the client. I also produced submission drawings during Submission Stage and will start producing Construction drawing as the project goes into the next stage.

1902 KAH Location : Kepong, Kuala Lumpur(Malaysia) Project Status : Schematic Design Stage The design proposal for this renovation of a triple storied house is for a family as their new home. The design concept of the house is of contemporary style with clean and modernistic interior design. I was handed the project in Schematic Design Stage so I got to assist in producing the drawings of the original building and go site visit for measurements.

factory visit By having the opportunity to visit the company factory in Dengkil, I get to know more about the making process of the GRC , EPC, polycrete products, site inspection process, learn about the communication with clients.

FACTORY IN DENGKIL

The factory is for the design and fabrication of products oﬀered by the company speciﬁcally custom made to match the clients needs and requirements.

THE MAKING OF GRC, EPC, POLYCRETE PRODUCT

The materials are casted into custom made moulds for diﬀerent shapes and sizes to form decorative pre-casted ornamental architecture. The materials can also be casted on site.

INNOVATIVE MATERIALITY PROTOTYPES

Innovative materiality experiments have been done to tested out the diﬀerent possibilities of how a product could be.

SITE INSPECTION WORKS

One part of the factory is under construction for extension work to create more living and working spaces for the workers.

conclusion Through this internship experience, I have had the chance to learn and improve myself while being in the real architecture field . I have applied the knowledge and skills that I have obtained while handling hands-on projects. It was a time to develop more interest in the field and gain more knowledge. I have also learnt of the importance of soft skills like teamwork, time management and effective communication. I would like to thank my supervisor and colleagues for all the guidances that they have given me throughout this internship. It was a fruitful experience that improved and prepared me for my future career.
