Arthur River Trail

This scenic, tree-lined nature trail originates at Lions Park at the northwest end of Arthur and winds its way down to the Conestogo river, concluding at Wells Street. Wells Street and sidewalks along Smith Street (Highway 6) can be used to connect back to Lions Park.

The trail is located within a County Forest on Wellington Road 16, south

Saugeen River Trail

This picturesque trail begins at the Mount Forest & District Sports Complex and runs along the Saugeen River. A beautiful pedestrian bridge connects the trail to Mill Street. Hikers can use Cork Street as a way to connect back to the Sports Complex. This trail, along with the Angus Smith Park, serves as a stunning backdrop for family, engagement and wedding pictures.

South Wetlands Trail

Enjoy a winter picnic at the Murphy Park Pavilion and then walk the short tree-lined trail on the south side of the Saugeen River. Glasgow Street and Murphy Street can be used to connect back to Murphy Park.

Victory Tract

The trail is located within a county forest on Wellington Road 14, adjacent to a tract owned by the GRCA, which combines to create a 3km long trail. The site is well used in the winter for cross-country skiing as well as hiking in the summer.

West Luther Rail Trail

The trail is located within a County Forest on Wellington Road 16 and is adjacent to the McNamara Tract.

This short, beautiful, tree-lined trail provides an opportunity for users to explore its natural hills and views as they walk along the Saugeen River. This trail begins at North Water Street East and ends at Highway 89.

This gravel trail is established along a former rail line starting in Arthur. It runs from Eliza Street to the EastWest Luther Townline where it connects with another trail that users can take to Grand Valley and Waldemar. A less formal section of the trail extends west from Eliza Street to Wells Street. The Rail Trail is known for its stunning sunrise and sunsets as well as being surrounded by beautiful farmland.
