S.T.E.A.M WEEK
Written by Phukhao
S.T.E.A.M stands for Science, Technology, English, Art and Maths. S.T.E.A.M week ran from 25th to 29th March.
Each year group had a different project that they had to build using recycled material. Year 1 built mini zoos, Year 2 built bug hotels, Year 3 built bird houses, Year 4 built water collection systems, Year 5 built shoes from recycled materials and Year 6 built planters.
Every class followed a project building process. The steps week were: Research, Imagine, Plan, Create, Test, Improve, Ask.
Year 1 to Year 6 put a lot of effort into S.T.E.A.M week and had great fun at the same time!
“I like steam week because we get to recycle stuff.”
“It was veryfun to create the water collection system in one week”
