What got you into real estate and what keeps you there? I was introduced to real estate in 1978 as part of my job working in new branch research for US Bancorp in Portland, OR. One of my supervisors suggested I enroll in some real estate classes to help with my job duties. After just a couple months, I was hooked, and have been ever since! I love the business, it is ever changing and always challenging, but nothing brings me more pleasure than seeing the joy my clients have when their real estate dreams come true, big or small, it’s always very rewarding. Who is the living person that you most admire? I have been so fortunate to have many wonderful mentors in my life to guide and teach me, but would have to say I most admire my parents whom with gentle spirits had to overcome some very difficult struggles, but did it with grace, tenacity and humbleness. Their examples set a high character bar to hold. What is your favorite beverage? I’m a total coffee-a-holic! I also thoroughly enjoy all the wonderful wine selections we enjoy in the valley. What is your proudest accomplishment? I am most proud of my two amazing sons, Jordan and Erik. I am awed daily at their character, accomplishments, sweet spirits, colorful sense of humors and, well I could go on for pages, but suffice it to say, my husband, Paul and I have been very blessed and thank God every day for our beautiful family.
If you could blink your eyes and be anywhere in the world for a day, where would it be? There are so many wonderful places I would love to visit in this world, however, I find my greatest peace in the back country, sitting next to a lake with my horses quietly grazing nearby.
