Realtor’s Corner
www.leavenworthproperties.com Tell us about your family? I am married to Kevin Lynch and we have 5 children, with the youngest and last one at home being an 8th grader. What is the most challenging/gratifying thing about working in Real Estate? Leavenworth Properties, Inc. I enjoy seeing people realize their goals, whether it is a first time home buyer, a family looking for a larger home 509-548-3311 or someone looking for recreational property. Real Estate is an emotional tie and I enjoy working with people. If you could blink your eyes and be anywhere in the world, where would it be? Manhattan…in downtown New York City. Where do you currently live and what do like about it? I live in Cashmere and we have 3 acres of Nectarines amongst growers that have Pears. I love it all year round, but especially during blossom and harvest time.
Camiekae Lynch
Which historical person do you most admire? Jesus Christ ~ I love the lord and enjoy reading or watching any documentaries on the life of Christ. What tip do you have for someone who is buying or selling a home? My best advice to a buyer is to research all aspects of properties to be happy with your purchase. To a seller, I recommend that you research comparable properties, so you know you are competitive in the marketplace. What technology do you utilize in your real estate business daily? My Apple computer…I switched a year ago and have converted to the Apple family. I use my iPhone, iPad…and my Mac. Do you specialize in any specific area of Real Estate? Our office is in Leavenworth, so we are involved with a large number of recreational homes. What is the most interesting property you have listed? Dancing Coyote ~ 20 acres on the top of Mountain Home Road, complete with a forest service replica lookout tower, teepees, frisbee golf course and a cook shack. Previously it had been utilized as a children’s camp. What is a question we have not asked that you would like to answer? “Who has been your most interesting client?” ~ Mine was a 13 year old!
We’re Moving! Twice! Realtors® work tirelessly to promote our communities and in doing so we’ve become familiar with local market conditions as well as our community and client needs. Resulting from our market knowledge and a desire to secure our organization’s future we’ve purchased a building for our local Realtor® Association. The truth is, today’s buyers have a lot of advantages. Inventory is plentiful, prices are affordable and mortgage rates are near 50-year lows. Ultimately, the decision to own a home is a very personal one, but we believe that anyone who is able and willing to assume the responsibilities of owning a home should have the opportunity to pursue that Signing the docs, from left dream … and we’re an Association of believers! to right: Kevin Lynch (2011 President), Mary Hull-Drury (Executive Officer), and Paul Mares (2011 President-Elect).
As a result of listening to community and client needs we’ve worked with the Wenatchee World to re-vamp the real estate insert in the paper and are moving the open house section and real estate insert from Sunday to Friday. Moving forward, please look for the real estate section in the Wenatchee World on Fridays. We hope that by moving the real estate section in the paper to Fridays it will help you plan your weekend and house-hunting schedule better. Look for the real estate section and weekend open houses starting on Friday, October 7th. All told we’ll be moving twice … wanna join us?
