tep in to a Norman Rockwell scene as you stroll through Historic Downtown Chelan enjoying the twinkling holiday lights and the beautiful store windows decked out for the holidays. It’s the annual Small Town Christmas Celebration, sponsored by the Historic Downtown Chelan Association (HDCA). The festivities kick off on November 23rd starting with Hot Friday Deals all over town, beginning as early at 6am. As the day continues, all of downtown comes alive for the Holiday Open House, a one-of-kind shopping experience filled with family fun and small town charm. Stroll through the downtown visiting the local shops as you sip on hot chocolate and enjoy the streets with Christmas music. Join Woody Debris, a local band, as they lead the crowd in Christmas carols around the town’s Christmas Tree. At 6pm, the children will greet Santa at the historic old bridge as he arrives on the Chelan 7 vintage parade. Children should make sure they bring their flashlights, decorated bikes, wagons and wear lit costumes so that they can lead the truck and Santa to the Christmas Tree! Parade line up starts at 5pm in the area between BC McDonalds and Campbell’s Park Room. The town will gather at the Christmas Tree for the ceremonious lighting at 6:30pm and then follow Santa as he leads the crowd to Riverwalk

Park for marshmallow roasting, hot chocolate and cider, meet and greets with Santa and Mrs. Claus, and the finale fireworks show! Don’t worry if you missed Santa on the 23rd, you can join him and Mrs. Claus at the Breakfast with Santa at Campbell’s Resort on Saturday November 24th at 9am. Enjoy a fun-filled breakfast of pancakes, scrambled eggs, bacon, juice and a hot chocolate bar! Coffee and tea for the grown-ups too. Mrs. Claus will be telling stories, face painting, and some great photos ops for the kids! Back again this season are the popular free holiday matinee movies on four consecutive Sat-

Festival of Trees Live Auction Gala Sat, Dec 1 from 6pm - 9pm

The Historic Downtown Chelan Association and the Lake Chelan Chamber of Commerce present the 2018 Lake Chelan Festival of Trees. Funds raised from the Holiday Gala and Auction Fundraiser will go to benefit Thrive Chelan Valley. The beautifully decorated trees and wreaths will be on display at the Lake Chelan Chamber of Commerce from November 23rd through December 1st. The Chamber will host a preview open house on November 23rd from 12:00 pm to 4:00 pm with coffee, cider and cookies.
