A

cloud does not know why it moves in just such a direction and at such a speed... It feels an impulsion... this is the place to go now. But the sky knows the reasons and the patterns behind all clouds, and you will know, too, when you lift yourself high enough to see beyond horizons. ~ Richard Bach

OUTCOME 2

Strategy 1 uses simple lofting with set irragular curves from Rhino.

OUTCOME 1

Strategy 2 uses the revolve tool with an irragular curve set from Rhino revolving around a straight line that’s alsoset from Rhino.

Strategy 3 is expirimenting with polar array to play with the base geometries and then use the extrude command to bring surfaces to the geometries and create 3D objects. 3

OUTCOME 5

The key feature for strategy 4 is 3D rotation and then lofting. The five outcomes are generated using increasing number of polygons and rotation domain. 4

OUTCOME 4

Strategy 5 mainly used array then loft with the exploration of randomness in which the circles’ radii size, and also in the distance where the circles are going in the x direction.

WEEK2:Pavilian Process

1. dividing the curves

3. creating geodesic curves

5. pipe the curves

7

2. creating arcs and make a loft

4. moving curves up along Z axis

6. deleting all points, curves and loft

WEEK3:Patterns

1. joined polylines

5. using panels

9

2. extruded surface

6. using image sampler

3. capped surface produced solid

7. rendering with different materials ie. smooth/rough

4. using solid difference command

8. rendering with shadows
