Travel the World from Inside The Met : Wendover Art Group Debut s Exclusive Collection in collaboration with The Metropolitan Museum of Art
LARGO, FL, March 30, 2023 – The Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York and Wendover Art Group, a domestic leader in artisanal and hand-crafted wall art editions, are proud to unveil their first collaborative collection on April 5th.
Inspired by The Met’s vast holdings of over two million art objects spanning 5,000 years from around the globe, the debut collection spotlights artworks spanning a diverse range of cultures and time periods as seen in the galleries of the Museum under the theme Travel the World from Inside The Met The Met x Wendover debut offering comprises over 50 new works of art inspired by ancient Egyptian artifacts; European decorative objects; Greek and Roman sculptures, photographs from inside the iconic museum, and more. Digitally printed on premium canvas and paper, and hand embellished by artisans, this collection brings high-end creations to a broader market and showcases The Met’s rich heritage within a digital marketplace.
