New CEO at Chilterns MS
Chilterns MS Centre appoints Andy Graham as new Chief Executive Officer
Andy Graham has been appointed to the position of Chief Executive Officer at the Chilterns MS Centre, an independent charity that offers therapy and support for people living with multiple sclerosis. The charity has been without a CEO for over a year, and Andy was previously the organisation’s Chief Operating Officer.
Speaking about his new role he comments, “I feel honoured to accept the position of CEO for the Chilterns MS Centre. My role as COO was more focused on directing the inner workings of the charity, and as COVID become our centre of attention, to ensure we were best placed to face the future. Our next phase, securing the long-term future of the charity, now needs our leadership to be focused outwards.
“My aim is simple – to help build a sustainable organisation that has the most positive impact on those we care for.”
Andy has also written an open letter to the Centre’s 500 members, which can be found on the charity’s website.
On his appointment, Chair of Trustees Catherine Golds added, “Andy has done a fantastic job steering the charity through the challenges of the pandemic. So, we are delighted he is taking the role of CEO to lead us into the next chapter in our history.”
The position forms part of a period of change for the charity, which is also recruiting for a new Head of Fundraising, and has recently restructured its clinical team to reflect a more integrated approach to supporting and treating people with the incurable neurological condition.
