Rennie Grove Plaque restored

This time last year, page 16, December 2020 print edition, https://wendovernews.co.uk/ news/hs2-and-me-december-2020/, Bob Duggan was mourning the destruction of part of the Rennie Grove Memorial Woodland by HS2 enabling works in November 2020.

A Community Orchard was planted by the Heron Path to commemorate the soldiers who appear on our Memorials to World War 1. On Tuesday 2 November, All Souls Day, Rev Sally Moring blessed the plaque in its new position within this orchard woodland, in the presence of representatives of the charity, the Chair of Wendover Parish Council, and the local fundraising group.
