Climate Action Wendover would like to say a big THANK YOU to all the volunteers, including an enthusiastic group of local Beavers and Cubs who supported our weekend tree planting events in December.

A total of 1200 native trees were planted in Ashbrook Park and London Road open space which will develop into hedging, whilst the seedlings planted in Walnut Meadow will develop into a small copse over the next 20 years. 2700 trees have been planted this year, well on the way towards our goal of planting one tree for every resident.

One of the biggest causes of carbon emissions is burning fossil fuels and with many people now working from home, we might well be turning the heating on earlier in the day to keep warm. But what if that heat is leaking from your home? Well now you can find out with our Leaky Homes Survey, brought to you by Buckinghamshire Community Energy. For £20 you will get a thermographic image of the outside of your home identifying exactly where heat is leaking out and advice on how to plug those holes.
