TRIBUTE:ANGIE SMITH

It was with great sadness that Wendover learned of the death of Angie Smith who passed away on 28 June 2022, aged just 56.

Angie was the owner of Red Carpet Hairdressing on Aylesbury Road which opened its doors to the public 14 years ago in February 2008. Since then, Red Carpet has thrived at the centre of Wendover, cutting the hair of many residents, and employing many local people within the salon.

A firm believer in giving back, Angie and the team have over the years, donated a lot of their time to local charities, hosted numerous Macmillan coffee mornings and gifted a variety of prizes to fundraisers in the area.

The team and clients alike will miss her radiant smile which was the staple of any greeting during a visit, along with the immense pride she took in her work and those around her.

Angie’s family, who have been part of the business for many years, will carry on her legacy at Red Carpet Hairdressing, alongside the amazing team that have all loved working with her and share her passion for the profession. They all look forward to welcoming old and new clients back to the salon for the famous Red Carpet treatment.
