This year, Armistice Day, 11 November, falls on a Friday. It is traditional for those who wish to, to gather at the War Memorial on the Manor Waste to observe the customary 2 minutes silence at 11am and leave a poppy or similar if desired.

Remembrance Sunday falls on 13 November this year. The Parade starts at 2.30pm and moves up the High Street to the War Memorial on the Manor Waste. All are welcome to attend but please remember

that the Parade is organised by The Royal British Legion in cooperation with RAF Halton and they will have designated spaces for the different uniformed groups who bring their banners to be lowered at the appropriate moments.
