WAVUS Launch Event

Wendover and surrounding villages have formed a support group for Ukrainian guests and their hosts – WAVUS for short.

The official launch will take place on 3 November 2022 in St Anne’s Hall, Aylesbury Rd, Wendover from 7.15 to 9.15pm and we would be very pleased if you could come along and support this community group.

The event will provide a great opportunity for Ukrainian guests and local people to meet, to share local knowledge and provide networking and support.

We will sample Ukrainian ‘nibbles’ and drink some vodka; listen to a talk about the country’s culture and customs; and hear about the aims of WAVUS.

All Ukrainian guests in the Wendover and villages area, together with their hosts, plus all interested members of the Wendover and villages community are warmly welcome to join us – we look forward to seeing you there.
