Rawls College of Business

STEM MBA at Texas Tech is the first graduate program of its kind in the state of Texas,

designed to give STEM students the business analytical skills necessary to be successful in management and leadership roles.

Technically trained STEM students are seldom armed with the business skills needed to compete. To address this need, the Rawls College of Business created a one-year MBA program designed to complement a STEM student’s technical background. The focus in the classroom is on general business; the difference lies in the emphasis on STEM applications, along with elective classes geared specifically toward STEM disciplines. Whether you are looking at a future in medicine, engineering, science, or technology, a STEM MBA can give you the competitive advantage you need to change your trajectory. 2 | STEM MBA
