NEW STUDENT ASSESSMENTS
To help us place you in the appropriate courses for your first semester, you are required to complete the online New Student Assessments. Your knowledge in the areas of math and foreign language will be assessed to mark your current foundations. Completion is mandatory prior to class registration. Click here to get started
Mathematics
The study of mathematics provides necessary skills and concepts essential in other areas of study, including natural sciences, social sciences, business, and education. Therefore, a proficient score on the mathematics placement assessment is a prerequisite to many courses, not just those in the Mathematics department. This assessment is purely for advisory purposes and is used only to recommend placement into your first mathematics course.
Foreign Language
If students are to succeed in this world and shape the world of tomorrow, they need more than breadth of depth of knowledge. One of the challenges brought forth through Wesleyan’s academic program is that students meet the needs of being familiar with cultures other than their own. To this end, completion of modern foreign language courses to the intermediate level is a requirement of the general education program.
Please complete your assessment today.
Priority Deadline May 15th Final Deadline June 5th For more information, please contact LaTasha Andre at (478) 757-5193
