Live Entertainment Returns to White Plaiwns Performing Arts Center
White Plains Performing Arts Center has returned to live entertainment. Kicking off the winter season is A Christmas Carol: The Musical, featuring Alan Menken (Disney’s Beauty and the Beast, The Little Mermaid) and Lynn Ahrens (Ragtime, Once on This Island), who breathe fantastic new life into the classic tale of Ebenezer Scrooge. The show runs from December 3 through 30.

On February 5, 2022, WPPAC presents From Broadway with Love, a celebration of some of Broadway’s greatest love songs performed by six of the finest vocalists (three real-life couples) from The Great Bright Way.
Rounding out February, on the 26th, will be Tony Award Winner Lillias White, set to take the audience on a musical journey full of love, light and happiness. Get Some Happy is sure to lift your spirits and make you happy. The show features standards from the world of Broadway, film and jazz.

Holiday Train Show
Tickets are on sale for one of New York City’s favorite holiday traditions: the New York Botanical Garden Holiday Train Show!
This beloved tradition returns for its 30th year with a miniature wonderland, housed in the warmth of the Enid A. Haupt Conservatory. Marvel at model trains zipping through an enchanting display of more than 175 famous New York landmarks; imagine the Statue of Liberty, Brooklyn Bridge, Rockefeller Center, and other favorites each delightfully re-created from natural materials such as pine cones, acorns, and seeds.

Art Boutique
Pelham Art Center presents its annual exhibition and sale of handmade art items November 27 through December 23. The Art Boutique is an exhibition of handmade artisan gifts and artwork by emerging and mid-career artists. Collect affordable artworks and make holiday purchases that directly support local artists and the local arts scene. Unique items in a range of media--ceramics, wood, prints, jewelry, accessories and homewares-are available at every price point. In-Person at The Music Hall
Vaccinated individuals can enjoy a variety of holiday entertainment at the Tarrytown Music Hall. First up is Top of the World: A Carpenter’s Christmas on December 17, a tribute band fronted by singer Debbie Taylor who sounds remarkably like Karen Carpenter. On December 18, Cherish the Ladies: A Celtic Christmas, an annual sold-out tradition, will feature this Grammy Award nominated Irish-American female troupe sharing timeless Irish traditions and good cheer. On December 23, The Glenn Miller Orchestra: Home for the Holidays will feature holiday favorites and big band classics.
Westchester's Winter Wonderland
Westchester’s Winter Wonderland drivethrough holiday light extravaganza - for the kid in all of us - is back this year, at Kensico Dam Plaza. Presented by Westchester Parks Foundation and WMC Health, attractions include a set of elves – Ned and Albert, glittering angels, dancing trees, glowing snowballs, Candy Cane Lane, a spectacular 100-foot light tunnel, a 40-foot Christmas tree and more.
Without traffic, the drive takes approximately 20 to 25 minutes. Once starting on the route, visitors will not be able to leave their vehicles.
You can enjoy it all from the safety and warmth of your car. Proceeds from the event enable the Parks Foundation to invest in preservation, conservation, use and enjoyment of Westchester’s 18,000 acres of parks. The festive celebration kicks off on Friday, November 26 at 6 p.m. and runs for five consecutive weeks, through January 2, 2022.
