Baby Ballet

Dance Class Rules

This class offers a great experience for all “ballerinas in training”.

30 minutes of fun each week includes dancing, and game playing.

This class offers a great way for your little one to socialize and make new friends. Baby Ballet will help develop fine motor skills by incorporating balance, and coordination activities. Prior to taking this class at least one session of mommy and me dance is strongly encouraged (SD) Instructor: Ms. Carolyn

Parents are asked to wait in the hallway during their child’s class.

Parent observation is held during the last 5 minutes of the last class.

Attire Girls may wear leotard, tights, pants or capris depending on the class. Boys may wear athletic pants, shorts, T-shirt and socks.

Appropriate shoes are required for each dance discipline.

Beginner Combo

Winter Recital classes run September-November and perform in the Snowflake Showcase Dance Recital.

This combination class introduces both ballet and tap in a fun environment. During class we will cover the basics of both styles and aid in the development of rhythm and coordination. Leotard, ballet, and tap shoes are required. (SD) Instructor: Ms. Carolyn

Program fee includes a non-refundable T-shirt recital fee.

SCHOOL OF DANCE Hip Hop/Jazz I

Performing Company

This combination hip hop jazz class will introduce hip hop and jazz techniques. This energetic class will focus on rhythm, musicality and dance combinations. (SD) Instructor: Ms. Hannah

This no-cut group is the looking for children who love to dance and perform. Company will meet three times a week. This fun performance group will perform at the winter and spring recital as well as park district and local events. At least two session of dance experience preferred.

This class will focus on the popular, youth culture style of dance that provides a funkier edge to the basic styles of dance. Bit Bop

These classes do not perform in the winter dance recital. Parent observation is held during the last 5 minutes of the last class.

This non-recital class teaches simple hip hop moves to energetic age appropriate songs. Participants will improve motor skills, develop rhythm, and enjoy interactive movement. (SD) Instructor: Ms. Hannah
