WESTCORD ART HOTEL AMSTERDAM Hotel & FACILITIES This modern themed hotel has 190 rooms of a very high standard and throughout the hotel you can experience the contemporary art. Furthermore there is a cosy ‘Art Café’, restaurant ‘The Gallery’, a terrace with outside bar, an open air swimming pool as well as private garaged parking for a fee. LOCATION AND ACCESSIBILITY WestCord Art Hotel is on the outskirts of the historical centre of Amsterdam, in the Westerpark district, just a few minutes from the A10 ring road. The hotel is a 10 minute drive from the heart of the city and a 20 minute drive from Schiphol Airport. Right in front of the hotel is a bus stop with connections to the centre of the city, Central trainstation and trainstation Sloterdijk. The hotel is easily accessible: By car: Ring A10 from the North: take exit S101, from the South: take exit S102. Follow the sign for ‘Centrum’. After 500 metres you will see the hotel on your right hand side.
Public transport: From the Central trainstation take the city bus 22 and get off at the stop ‘Zaanhof/Koogstraat’ (5 min. walk to hotel) or take the city bus 48 and get off at the stop ‘Hempoint’.
MEETING ROOMS The hotel has 5 meeting rooms with natural daylight, air conditioning, WIFI and all modern audiovisual equipment.
EVENTS There are a variety of activities available in the hotel and surrounding area. The ‘Art Café’ is ideal for organising company drinks and the restaurant, which overlooks the swimming pool, is a fabulous location for a party or informal dinner. Within walking distance of the hotel is the beautiful Westerpark with its many activities and you can admire the architecture from the famous ‘Amsterdamse School’. In addition, the lively city of Amsterdam offers endless opportunities for relaxing such as theatres, museums, boat tours, bicycle tours and much more.
