At Bridge Bank, the landscape we serve is the landscape of ideas. We believe in the risk takers, the game-changers and the disrupters, with banking that helps move you toward your goals, across all stages of growth and in nearly every industry. We created Bridge Bank with a clear vision: to be the one, pure professional business bank for small- and mid-sized companies, and for emerging technology-focused ventures. Our goal has always been to offer the custom-crafted banking solutions that businesses of all kinds, particularly in the multi-faceted tech and innovation industry, need to thrive. Today Bridge Bank’s geography spans the diverse and vibrant Northern California economy as well as the country’s tech hubs. We start from our headquarters in San Jose but reach to Boston, Washington, D.C., Southern California, Seattle, Denver, Chicago and more. We also offer the capital resources, regional strengths and national capabilities of our much-admired parent company, Western Alliance Bank. Simply put, Bridge Bank is different. Our uniquely qualified bankers are committed to building relationships and helping companies succeed. Beyond our tech and innovation credentials and powerful national capabilities, we are sharply focused on providing you with an outstanding customer experience that drives value. We look forward to the opportunity to work with you.

WHAT SETS US APART
We’re not just any bank, we’re Bridge Bank. We work to be smart, dynamic, unconventional and thoughtful – key qualities that yield productive banking solutions for our clients. Four brand pillars define our distinctive approach.
A Different Breed of Banker A banker with a passion for collaboration. Resourceful. Creative. Driven to make the impossible possible, and proudly devoted to the success of their clients. One who listens intently, responds quickly and is personally invested in helping businesses achieve their goals.
Flexibility/Customized Solutions Our clients never have to settle for off-the-shelf solutions. Bridge Bank was built on the understanding that a one-size-fits-all solution simply does not apply to the escalating complexity of modern commerce. That’s why we focus on getting to know a client’s business above all else.
Entrepreneurial Spirit Formed in the heart of Silicon Valley, Bridge Bank has honed an entrepreneurial edge that matches the competitive spirit of our clients. With instinct and determination, Bridge Bank supports our visionary clients in their plans to change the world.

Ambition. Drive. Grit. Bridge Bank believes strong businesses are built on strong relationships. Our team of local and experienced bankers provides you with the financial resources and strategic guidance you need, so you can focus on what’s important – managing your business and achieving your goals.

WHAT CLIENTS SAY
Our clients don’t have to choose between an attentive relationship and powerful national resources. With us, you’ll get the focus of a highly skilled banker who knows your business, your industry and your issues, along with sophisticated products and a collaborative approach.
Jessie Woolley-Wilson President and CEO, DreamBox Learning
“Bridge met our innovative flair with financial innovation. They helped us see past impediments to possibilities. They understand what it means to be a banking partner.”
Eric Raff Founder and CEO, XL Construction
“I appreciate that we see the same level of effort by the bank to meet our needs as an existing client as we did when they were seeking our business as a new customer.”
Matt Clifford Co-Founder and COO, Barnana
“Our product is unique in the market and we needed a strong and flexible banking team that could think creatively and work with us to achieve our goals. Bridge Bank is definitely a ‘people-first’ institution and that really stood out to us. Their ability to scale from both a capital and technology perspective is an amazing asset.”
Rising Star in RNA Medicines Finds Expert Bankers in Their Space Arcturus Therapeutics is a very bright star on the biomedical horizon. The emerging company is poised to be a major player in RNA-based therapeutics, targeting individual genes to address rare diseases. While the San Diego-based company has more than 150 patents in review, perhaps more importantly it already has strong partnerships with some of the biggest, multi-billion-dollar names in the pharmaceutical industry. When Arcturus became public in late 2017, the finance team looked for a bank with the ability to support larger facilities over time. “It is important to us to be with a bank that can grow with us,” said Neda Safarzadeh, Director, Head of Investor Relations/Public Relations/Marketing. “We have a very big opportunity and it’s up to us to grasp it.” She added, “The people at Bridge Bank are very engaged and incredibly responsive. They keep up with us and understand our sector remarkably well.” Noted KC Kummerfeld, Vice President of Finance and Corporate Controller, Arcturus Therapeutics: “We appreciated the very quick turn-around, the bank was right on it. They created a loan structure that was just right for us and it was fairly priced.”

COMMUNITY INVOLVEMENT
People at Bridge Bank care deeply about improving quality of life in the communities where we live and work. Across our organization, we support affordable housing, education, job creation, workforce development, arts and culture, and so much more. Our concentrated efforts in small business lending create opportunity that adds economic vitality at every level. And we always dedicate resources, time and talent to high-impact community service organizations that help low- to moderate-income individuals.
Investing in Higher Education Bridge Bank has nurtured an extensive relationship with a key educational asset in Silicon Valley, San Jose State University. We are a proud supporter of San Jose State University’s Tower Foundation, which assists with the development, investment, administration and banking of all SJSU philanthropic donations. This commitment supports the Center for Banking and Financial Services in SJSU’s College of Business. Bridge Bank also funds scholarships each year for the program’s students, with many SJSU alumni going on to begin their careers with us. One of the best-known aspects of this relationship is our role as title sponsor of the annual SJSU Economic Summit, a key event for local business leaders.
Bridge Bank, like every division of Western Alliance Bank, has a strong track record for community commitment.
