Through this partnership with our friends at the Current, we have streamlined what was a lengthy and costly internal process and allowed design, production and mailing to be produced by the Current’s top-notch production and design group, ultimately decreasing spending for production in our overall budget. We are looking forward to our next edition featuring our winter programming and latest Township news! As always, please feel free to contact me with questions or comments. WESTFIELD FIRE DEPARMENT

Our Family Protecting Yours SMOKE DETECTORS SAVE LIVES! Please make sure that everyone in your home knows what your smoke alarms sound like and practice what to do if the alarm goes off. Along with testing your smoke alarms every month, you should replace them every 10 years. If your smoke alarm has a 10-year battery, it should be replaced at the end of the battery life or if the alarm begins to chirp. All batteries other than the 10- year life type should be replaced every year. Do not let fire destroy what is most important in your life! Practice fire safety year round! If you have questions about smoke alarms or need help getting new ones, consider visiting www.redcross.org/local/indiana/home-fire-safety or call the Westfield Fire Department at 317-804-3300.
