You are strongly encouraged to begin the Capitalizing on the Web series with Preparing & Optimizing Content for the Web. You will be using these techniques in each of the courses.
Prices:
All of the Capitalizing on the Web courses are hands-on in a computer lab environment. We charge on a per hour basis per computer. If two (2) people share a computer, one is the student and the observer is at no additional cost. The majority of the courses use the free tools and free sites access available to small businesses. Any additional fees for the purchase of applications or to subscribe to premium memberships in any of the sites or to place online advertising or any other internet services requiring a fee are NOT included in these course registration fees.
Discounts:
Once you have taken the Preparing & Optimizing course, you will be receive a discount of 15% on the next two (2) additional courses in the series. After you have taken three (3) courses in the series, you will receive a total discount of 30% on any additional courses.
Scheduling:
Our goal to make these courses relevant, current, affordable and convenient. These courses can be scheduled in the morning, afternoon, evening or on weekends. Be certain to state you preferences and make a request.
Minimum Enrollment
The minimum enrollment in the SBDC/CSI computer lab is six (6) students. For off-site computer labs, the minimum is eight (8) students.
Refund:
When the minimum enrollment is not met, the student will be given the option to enroll in a different session, in a different course or receive a refund.
Groups:
These courses are available for off-site groups or small customized groups in the SBDC Computer Lab. Please contact the SBDC to make arrangement for use the lab and the technology trainer.
