SHIFT YOUR MIND At One55 West HQ, you’ll find something to shift your thinking. At 2,600 square metres of pure energy, One55 have one of the largest gym floor spaces in the whole of Western Sydney. With 65 cardio machines to choose from, a spacious stretch zone, a generous supply of pin-loaded machines as well as free weights, functional training space, and a sled track, there will always be a new and exciting way to get moving. The group fitness space is host to 7,000 members every month, playing host to over 70 classes. Every day, members of One55 find muscles they never knew they had, lose weight they thought they’d never be rid of, or break a record on their personal bucket list. It’s these achievements that keep us smiling, and coming to work every day knowing that we will see people walk out the door fitter, happier and the best version of themselves. Members have the huge advantage of having the Sydney Gymnastic & Aquatic Centre (SGAC) on site, allowing them to take a break from the gym if they ever need to, or at least make use of the extensive programs on offer for aquatics, gymnastic classes, and events. A holistic support of our health, One55 are also lucky to count Sydney West Sports Medicine – a large, multidisciplinary facility providing services for enhancing all aspects of health and wellbeing – as one of its closest neighbours. Any gym can tell you they have round the clock timetables, motivational teachers, or a range of innovative exercise styles encompassing everything from new techniques to time-worn favourites. Any gym can say they cater to every fitness level and exercise preference, from Yoga to BodyPump, SPRINT, RPM, BodyAttack and BodyCombat classes from LesMills. But there’s no other gym that can capture the heart and soul that is One55. It is more than just a fitness space. It’s a welcome mat at our front door; a safe space to try new and exciting things, to challenge yourself, to become a better version of you. It doesn’t support the toxicity of comparison. It tells its members to focus not on what they look like, but what their workouts feel like. Every experience at One55 should feel like its best; because it believes your best is always enough.

Inside One55, there’s no reason to look or move a certain way. It is about trying everything - at least once. Workout at your own pace, find your own level. Not everyone goes to the gym for a purely physical or aesthetic result. What matters is not to try and look good – it’s about feeling better; relieving stress; empowering yourself to overcome the weighing-down of anxiety, depression, or addictive behaviours.
