Most importantly: take your time: 1.Designate one person to register as a 'new user' on https://www.foireann.ie/ - please save your username and password 2.Set up your family details when you log in using the 'Family' tab. It is important to note that the second parent/guardian will have to confirm their details via their own email before you can proceed to the payment option 3.Use the 'Membership' tab to pay for the appropriate membership. Note: Once you set up the family members in step 2, their details will already be there and you just include them in your membership. CLUB LOTTO: Once again, due to the current government restrictions around gathering indoors our club lotto is on hold. Our lotto committee needs to be able to meet indoors to operate our popular lotto. Please note that all tickets sold will be honoured when the lotto restarts. We will give plenty of notice of this start time through these notes as well as online. Obituary It was with deep sadness that we in Annascaul learned of the passing of Joan Sharpe née Walsh on 13th March peacefully at her home in Tipperary in the care of her family. Predeceased by her husband Billy and infant daughter Angela. Deeply regretted by her loving children, Billy, Marie Conway (Herbertstown, Co. Limerick), Bryan, Patricia (Annascaul), Jacqueline Burns (Solohead), Siobhan Leech (London), sister Mona (Rochleau,USA), devoted sister-in law Tess Ryan (Ennis), grandchildren, great-grandchildren, sons-in-law, daughters-in-law, brothers-in-law, nieces, nephews, the Green family, relatives and friends.
Joan, a nurse by profession, left Annascaul in the early 50's to train in Surrey, England and was there for the coronation of Queen Elizabeth. She later returned to Ireland and worked in a nursing home in Tipperary run by the wife of Dr. Paddy Kennedy (an uncle of John Hartnett). It was in Tipperary she met her husband Billy Sharpe and settled there and raised six children. She returned every summer to holiday in Annascaul. Joan is remembered for her dedication to her work and caring nature. I measc na n-aingil go deo, Rest Peacefully Joan. R.I.P.
