UWSU have a presence on each site including Students Union offices and in some of the locations our own venues. We have an outreach to 23,000 students, with over 100 societies, 35 sports team, our own radio station & TV station, print newspaper and we even publish a magazine.

We host four Fresher’s fairs across our main Central London sites. Each fair is a mix of internal departments, externals, sports and societies. Hosting a fair at each site means we can target every student during their enrolment timetable.

student mailing We will be mailing all new arriving students when their places have been confirmed at Westminster. The pack will be sent directly to the new student’s home address, giving them detailed information about the Union, University and Local Area. We will be offering opportunity to insert leaflets into the mailing, we can hold three external leaflets in the mailing, due to weight restrictions.

GOODY BAGS UWSU will be giving out 7000 goody bags during the fresher’s fortnight, for all students attending the fairs and enrolment days. For externals who can’t make the fairs, this is the perfect opportunity to still get your marketing into student hands. We fill the bags with Students Union promoted items, information regarding the Union and internal information from the university. All our bags are given out via our Promotional Team. We recommend making the items you place in the goody bags a promotional item, as people pick up goody bags for the freebies.

ONSITE ACTIVITIES
COME TO CAMPUS
Get your message across to our students by having posters located around our vibrant sites; they will be on our poster boards and offices windows.
Promoting your business onsite is a great way to increase brand awareness and have an opportunity to speak face to face with students at any of our sites.
All our poster locations are in prime advertising spots around our campuses and are seen by hundreds of students daily. We offer the opportunity to advertise with A3 or A1 posters, with up to 5 per site.
We have four main sites where we offer onsite advertising across central London.
Flyering on our sites is also a great way to interact with our student body as well as getting real time feedback; you will be safe with the knowledge that your marketing is being put in the hands of the students you want to attract.
We offer stalls in our social spaces of our Marylebone, Regent, Cavendish and Harrow sites from 10am till 4pm Monday – Friday. Depending on the site and activity you wish to advertise we can recommend the best location for highest footfall and day you would gain highest interaction rate.
We offer the opportunity to have flyers in our SU office spaces, promotional staff to distribute or for clients to come on site to flyer themselves.

UNDERCROFT
Event sponsorship is one of the best ways to get your organisation recognised by the student population.
Undercroft is our Students Union Bar, holding 250 standing and is open daily from 12pm till late. We host a range of events at Undercroft from our weekly student nights to day events.
Sponsorship offers your organisation the opportunity to establish a lasting association of your brand with the students here at Westminster. We have a busy events calendar that runs throughout the academic year, covering everything from cultural, diversity, education and evening events.
The Undercroft bar serves hot food daily and has the capacity to cater for 150 standing in the venue.
Our main events of the year include UWSU Awards ball, Boat Party, Elections and Varsity. We offer a wide range of opportunities to cover external marketing.
SPORTS & SOCIETIES
We currently have over 30 sports teams ranging from Football to Martial Arts and Horse Riding; the majority of our teams compete in the BUCS University League, training at our Chiswick and Harrow Sports grounds. We have over 80 societies at UWSU, covering all areas from academic, hobby, religious and special interest. We offer the opportunity to sponsor one of our sports teams or societies; each team has between 15-40 active members, who wear branded uniform during games, training and on sports days. Each society membership can range from 15-200 members who wear branded clothing and can promote branded items at their events.

UWSU DIRECTORY The UWSU Directory is a full colour, easy to carry A5 booklet which contains offers, adverts and discounts from both local and national companies. It is produced four times a year.
THE LOFT The Loft, situated above The Undercroft, is a fully fitted live music space. The Loft is a newly refurbished performance space, fitted with a bar and separate entrance.
UWSU understand students and we know that they love a discount which is why this directory is the perfect way to get your information out to the growing student market in London.
The Loft can seat 100 and has standing room for 350, making it a highly versatile space.
