From The Editor… It's great to see the weather is, for the most part, holding out, and looks like it’s going to carry on that way for the next few weeks, which is good news for the school children on holiday - all nine million of them! Don't forget, if you are out driving with any small children in the car, make sure the seat is fitted properly (Recent checks by the Police in Weston have been carried out with a large number of the seats failed. They will be holding more checks, so be sure to read our advice on keeping your child safe in the car and in the sun on pages 20 and 21) Of course, we also have our usual mix of other interesting articles in the magazine this month, including a history of Ashcombe House on Milton Road, which was once a WW 2 Hospital, and the story of two new local Guinness Book of Records holders; read about them on page 19.
