event marketing As publisher of Radio Comms Asia–Pacific and its sister portal radiocomms.com.au, it’s our job to understand the market and know our readers and members. Direct access to this audience enables us to focus in on and target numerous stakeholder groups like no other event organiser in the space. RadioComms Connect is promoted using a varied and extensive mix of available media, with the following elements being key components:

DM and eDM campaigns take place in the run-up to the conference and exhibition, targeting extensive lists of potential delegates drawn from numerous sources. These include WFMedia’s in-house databases, in addition to up–to–date lists brought from leading list rental companies. Personalised letters, flyers and brochures are distributed in their tens of thousands.

Print advertising still plays a very important role in the marketing

of RadioComms Connect. Carefully chosen titles, both in-house and external to WF’s stable, are targeted with advertising and editorial in the lead-up to the event.

Digital media, including LinkedIn, Google AdWords and Yahoo!

Search Marketing, along with advertising on traditional targeted websites, is used to help attract and expose potential visitors to the RadioComms Connect message.

Telemarketing is an integral and very important element of our

marketing campaign. Previous delegates and visitors, along with other end users of radio and combined communications systems in numerous vertical sectors — from the mining and resource sectors to public safety and government — are identified and targeted by our experienced telemarketing team to ensure they know when and where RadioComms Connect is taking place and who is going to be speaking and exhibiting.

Discount entry is made available for clients and prospects of

sponsoring and exhibiting companies. Hard and soft copies of flyers for event promotion with special offers are made available well in advance to help encourage attendance. In addition to what we do, our sponsors and exhibitors play a very important role in spreading the message about the event and this is your chance to help make your involvement even more rewarding.
