the line find a home along

the Elizabeth Line is now fully up and running and it’s already spreading prosperity in London

Finally, the Elizabeth Line’s complete complement of services went into operation last month, making good on Crossrail’s longawaited promise of connectivity from Abbey Wood and Shenfield in the east to Reading in the west.

While the line’s effects are doubtless being felt beyond London’s city limits, it is within the capital that the most profound change is being felt. Transportation links are the arteries of prosperity and, with the Elizabeth Line already the UK’s busiest railway, there was clearly no shortage of demand for its creation.

Perhaps its biggest impact will be on the property market – connecting areas of London that were previously considered suburban and far flung with the most prosperous, central areas of the city in a few minutes. Who now wouldn’t want to live near a Liz Line station?

While many new developments are being built and sold along the length of the Elizabeth Line, buyers should not ignore established properties. Located a few minutes’ walk from Crossrail’s Canary Wharf station, this third-floor apartment offers close to 900sq ft of space on the estate’s doorstep.

The two-bedroom, two-bathroom home boasts a separate kitchen and a roof terrace with easterly views over the Blackwall skyline and is dual aspect with windows to the east. The development benefits from a 24-hour concierge service and car parking is also available.

In addition to the Elizabeth Line, the apartment is within easy walking distance of Canary Wharf’s Jubilee line station as well as Poplar DLR. It benefits from the estate’s growing portfolio of shops and restaurants including new openings such as Mallow, Fish Game and amenities such as Wood Wharf Kindergarten.
