Around each Elizabeth Line station, ripples of development spread. Take Woolwich, for example. A great deal of regeneration had already taken place on land directly around the Liz Line’s local stop.

But increasingly developers are looking to the future – keen to tempt buyers to calmer areas that nevertheless also benefit from the railway’s rapid connections.

While prices and full details have yet to be released, those looking to get in on the ground at a new-build scheme should consider the forthcoming launch of Fairview New Homes’ Dock28 off Pier Way in SE28.

This development promises podium gardens, public green spaces and a residents’ roof terrace, all located within a three-minute walk of the Thames.

There’s water even closer too, with the scheme stretched out along Broadwater Dock – a lengthy strip of blue space plunging south towards Plumstead from the river. Residents will also easily be able to access Gallions Park and Lake St Nicholas – both located about a nine-minute walk from the scheme.

For commuters, Woowich Elizabeth Line station is a little under 15 minutes’ walk for eight-minute onward journeys into Canary Wharf.
