Boardwalk Place is positioned to the east of the Canary Wharf estate near Blackwall Basin and is one of the closest residential developments to the Elizabeth Line station.

Since services began running, we have seen an influx of buyers from all over the capital, snapping up property in nearby developments, which is on average 30% cheaper than the City and north or west London.

We expect this trend to continue as more people begin to discover just how convenient it is to travel across London from Canary Wharf. Due to the increased demand, we are seeing property values improve in developments close to Elizabeth Line stations in this part of London and we are also seeing premiums being paid by tenants.

It used to take more than 30 minutes to commute from Canary Wharf to the West End – that journey now takes 15 minutes on an air-conditioned train.

While all stops along the Elizabeth Line have benefitted from its arrival it is arguably areas like Woolwich and Abbey Wood on the railway’s central and eastern section where the impact has been greatest.
