USING THE TIVO REMOTE Press the blue microphone button on the TiVo voice remote and speak naturally into the remote. You can ask your TiVo DVR to change the channel, launch an app or search for a movie — the choice is yours!*
Sample Voice Commands You Can Use • “Find Grey’s Anatomy.” • “Show me action movies with Tom Holland.” • “Play Season 5, Episode 3 of This Is Us.” • “Watch The Crown on Netflix.” • “Watch Blue Bloods on live TV.” • “Go to the History channel.” • “Change to Channel 622.” Important Notes • Voice functionality is only available with the newer TiVo Experience. If you have the classic TiVo Experience, the voice remote will still work on your DVR, but without voice control. Older TiVo remotes will work with the newer TiVo Experience, but you won’t have voice control functionality. • If your current remote does not have a Back button, use the Zoom button to go back on any screen. • If you misplace your remote but have your smartphone handy, you can use your smartphone to control your DVR via the TiVo app. (Note: Voice functionality isn’t available through the app.) • You can upgrade your remote for a one-time $15 charge.
