Community Outreach: Midshipman Action Group

Established in 1992 as a community relations program for and by the Brigade of Midshipmen, the Midshipman Action Group collaborates with community partners to bring programs of notable positive impact to communities within the Baltimore - Washington corridor and beyond. MAG has developed a variety of programs, including tutoring, mentoring, environmental, rebuilding, and other outreach engagements in coordination with community partners from the Annapolis, Baltimore and Washington D.C. areas, as well as regional and national partners. MAG also focuses on local food insecurity issues by donating tens of thousands of pounds of food, annually, to those most in need. MAG prepares midshipmen for future MAG service by developing skills and knowledge that engage leadership, stewardship and teamwork commitments across our many diverse communities.
