Holiday Clinic Hours: December 24th: Open 0900-1200 December 25th: Closed December 26th: Closed December 31st: Open 0900-1200 January 1st: Closed There is no lab work on December 24th or 31st so please plan accordingly. A reminder that there is always a nurse on-call for emergencies when the clinic is closed. Happy Holidays, Atlin Health Centre Staff An Outside Perspective Atlin, tucked away in north west, B.C., such a beautiful place. Life here for the most is lived at a slow pace. The town has 300 who live here, maybe a bit more, depends upon the season. The town gets a lot of tourists during the summer months that come for the view. The view is beautiful with its mountains on Atlin Lake, some check out the local crafts while others try panning, hoping to find a nugget or two. There is not cell phone service here but there is internet available and t.v. But for those that live here and visit, it’s about the beauty and tranquility. There are some buildings from the gold rush era being used in town. While others are showing signs of being weathered and look as though they are ready to fall down. I’ve come here many times to visit family, it’s a great place to be, to unwind. Just being on the lake, maybe fishing or enjoying the scenery and fresh air, gives me peace of mind.
