WELCOME!

The TCA Board of Directors welcomes Tara Leduc to her new position as Recreation Director. Tara brings experience working with large community groups and volunteers and organizing events. She grew up in the Yukon and has recently moved back and now she and her husband are making Tagish their permanent home. Tara is open and friendly and has already met many community members at events. When you have time, stop by the Community Centre to say hello!

MESSAGE FROM THE RECREATION DIRECTOR

Hello from Tara Leduc, the new Recreation Director! I am almost a month into filling the big shoes left by Nathalie Claing and Dee Teerstra and I am having fun! So far, we’ve had the busiest pancake breakfast in a while, and a successful Community Highway Clean-up, plus Coffee and Chat each Wednesday, and I have learned carpet bowling! We have a lively June coming, with the TCA Board Meeting on June 6th, Annual General Meeting on June 10th, pancake breakfast to celebrate Dads on June 19th, Tagish Seniors’ Dinner on June 24th. And of course Canada Day celebrations on July 1st! I would love to meet you and hear about your ideas for how we can make Tagish the best little community. We’ll put the kettle on, and there’s usually cookies. Come in and say Hello!
