ATLIN LANDFILL - SHARE SHED – DISASTER

ZONE!! The Share Shed at the Atlin Landfill is meant to hold items that may be used by someone else. There is no “Share Shed Fairy� to keep it clean and orderly. It is up to the people who use it to keep it in an orderly manner. If the Share Shed continues to be left in poor condition there will be no alternative than to shut it down. This will be a disservice to the community as the share shed is well used.

It’s YOUR Share Shed & YOUR RESPONSIBILITY Share Shed Sorting information: ➢ Electronics go to designated bins (no one wants your l990’s TV) ➢ Chipped cups, dishes, etc. go in the glass bin ➢ Old burnt pots, destroyed frying pans and other useless metal items go into 45 gallon drum by the share shed ➢ Boxes with broken toys, wax and wood crayons, and paper are to be sorted and deposit in designated bags in the recycling shed area ➢ Useless plastic items (glasses, storage containers without lids, etc.) Deposit in Hard Plastics Bag in the recycling shed area ➢ Light bulbs – Deposit fluorescent in designated freezer and incandescent in designated bin ➢ Partial lotions, shampoos, etc. -- Not accepted ➢ Dirty clothes, blankets full of dog hair -- Not accepted ➢ Old, dirty & hard boots and shoes -- Not accepted ✓ Hang clothing – there are plenty of hangars ✓ Arrange books on bookshelf ✓ Dropping Off/Browsing/Picking Up – Keep it TIDY! đ&#x;˜Š ~~ Thank You! ~~ đ&#x;˜Š If you have questions please ask the Landfill Attendant.
