Leonard Patrick Sullivan 

February 15, 1954 – June 3, 2019 On Monday we lost a loving husband, Dad, brother and friend at the age of 65. In our hearts we will forever cherish the love and the memories. Len was born in Calvert Newfoundland and was posted to many detachments in his career with the RCMP for over 30 years, Len and his wife Diane called Cranbrook home for the last 16 of those years. Len and Diane raised their wonderful sons Christopher (Calgary, AB) and Shawn (Melfort, Sask). Len could be found enjoying long walks in the community forest or Idlewild Park, he loved coaching hockey in (Williams Lake, Atlin and Cranbrook, B.C) Len took pride refereeing minor hockey or being an umpire for minor baseball. Len loved his days on the greens of Cranbrook Golf Course or cheering on the former Kootenay Ice in his seasonal seats. Len is survived by his wife Diane, son’s Christopher and Shawn, his mother Ida Sullivan, his 8 brothers; Jimmy, Colin, Fabian, Tommy, Craig, Blair, Ross and Rodney, and his 7 sisters; JeanAnne, Doris, Shirley, Monnie, Rhoda, Denise and Patrice.
