Distances and return times are approximate. On-trail duration is 3-4 hours, including trailside lunch break. If there’s time, we stop for ice cream on the way back, cost on your own. Natural surface trails include roots, rocks, and varying conditions. Difficulty rating is based on elevation, distance, and incline and adjusted for the age group. Hiking poles required for hikes; recommended for Ramblers and Nature Walks. Dress in layers for variable weather; bring rain gear; apply sunblock. Wear study walking shoes or boots with good traction. Pack lunch/snacks and water. Carry a whistle & first aid kit with necessary personal medication.

Are you curious about Colorado’s ecosystems, flowers, trees, birds, mammals and more? Join us to walk, stop, and learn for about 2 hours on-trail, including a snack break, plus drive time. Selected trails are within 1.25-hour drive and vary in incline, new new new habitat, obstacles like rocks, roots, etc. Cancel by: one week ahead.
