Elias Studier was the leading scorer for the Forest Lake lacrosse team the last two seasons. The 5-foot-8, 170-pound senior attacker logged 20 goals and nine assists this season. Studier was also a forward on the Ranger hockey team. He was named a captain for both lacrosse and hockey.

Maycie Neubauer

Stillwater lacrosse

Maycie Neubauer, Stillwater lacrosse junior, leads the Ponies with 38 goals, heading into the state third-place game. She’s also made 10 assists and is second with 38 ground balls. Neubauer logged 35 goals last year. She has helped the Ponies go 28-9 the last two seasons.

Norah Hushagen Brock Lynskey

Forest Lake track

Norah Hushagen, Forest Lake sophomore distance runner in her fourth varsity season, posted two personal bests in the state meet on June 10, placing fifth in both the 3200 with 10:49.23 and the 1600 with 5:06.67. She moved up from last years eighthand 12th-place finishes. In November, Hushagen was third in the state cross country meet and 20th at Nike Nationals.

Brock Lynskey, Stillwater lacrosse junior, led the Ponies (11-5) in scoring with 31 goals and 12 assists for 43 points, and was one of the leaders with 34 ground balls. The 5-foot-11, 175-pound attacker logged nine goals in three section games last week. A two-year starter, he had 10 goals as a sophomore.
