LINO LAKES — Eric and Sheri Heim love their Les Mills fitness program so much they decided to open their own studio when they heard the YMCA is cutting the program this year. The couple lives in Columbus but hopes to open the studio in Lino Lakes, where Eric has been attending Les Mills BodyPump classes at the YMCA. “We do want to 'Save Les Mills' in Lino Lakes, and hope others share our passion and our vision for a great new studio,” said Sheri. The studio does not have a location yet, but does have a name – CORe 619 Group Fitness. The name is based off of I Corinthians 6:19: “Do you not know that your bodies are temples of the Holy Spirit, who is in you, whom you have received from God?” The Heims want to SEE LES MILLS, PAGE 3

LINO LAKES — Christina Hamman and Ryan Lange have found God to be their source of strength after their 22-month old son died from injuries incurred at a day care Jan. 29. The couple hadn't been attending a church before Cameron's death, but started attending Ryan's father's church where they held Cameron's funeral — Shepherd of the Hills Lutheran Church in Shoreview. “I felt a connection to the pastor of the church,” said Christina. “I was never really raised on any religion.” Christina now has hope that she will see her little boy again. “If I keep my faith, I have a promise to see him,” she said. She was baptized the Sunday before what would have
been Cameron's 2nd birthday. “I was baptized the day before his birthday to honor him and start my new life,” said Christina. Several friends and the pastor of Shepherd of the Hills also put together a balloon release and candlelight vigil for the grieving parents on his birthday, March 14. A professional photographer even donated his time to capture the event. About 60 family and friends attended the event held at Cameron's favorite park next to his parent's home. They released purple balloons into the air. “Purple was his favorite color,” said Christina, remembering “The Color Song” was one of his favorite SEE GRIEVING PARENTS, PAGE 10
