Arthur Miller’s compassionate insight into the life of a family fracturing in the face of broken dreams is brought to life by an extraordinary ensemble in this iconic play. Paul English is mesmerising in his achingly accurate portrayal of the hopes, dreams and torments of the travelling salesman.

An uplifting and revealing multi-language story of life as the child of deaf parents. Delve into the contradictions of inhabiting in two worlds: living in a deaf family where sign language is natural; and living in a society that sees disability through voyeuristic curiosity. A smart, touching, and deeply personal exploration of dis/ability.

Opening Night

13 October

Walk the red carpet and celebrate the much-anticipated opening of The Round with two of Melbourne’s most beloved performers, Lucy Durack and Gary Pinto. This once in a lifetime concert will establish The Round as the cultural heart of Melbourne’s East. Your ticket gains you entry into the post-show cocktail party.

Lucy’s distinguished musical theatre career includes lead roles in Legally Blonde and Wicked, as well as countless film and television appearances. Gary is an Aria Award-winning artist who has worked with music royalty such as Jimmy Barnes and Christine Anu. The evening will also feature some of Whitehorse’s long-standing community performers. Don’t miss this opportunity to be part of history at the opening of The Round!

The first public performance is Death of a Salesman on Friday 15 September. The official opening of The Round is our Opening Night on Friday 13 October.

Welcome to The Round’s Underground Cabaret. Our Studio transforms into a decadent speakeasy and will present some of Melbourne’s most fabulous and glittery cabaret stars. Soak up the lush surroundings as you laugh, cry and squeal with delight at these clever, camp and dazzling performances. Devilish and delicious, the Underground Cabaret will tease you in 2023 with these gorgeous artists before unveiling a stunning 2024 Season.

The Two of Us – The Songs of Lennon & McCartney

4 November

Damien Leith and Darren Coggan unite to celebrate the timeless songbook of John Lennon & Paul McCartney. They will be performing immortal songs from The Beatles’ treasure trove of pop history, alongside classics from Lennon & McCartney’s rich and diverse solo careers.

15 – 16 December

Cabaret darling Libby O’Donovan OAM and an all-star company of music theatre sweethearts unite to deliver all the hits from the beloved classic film Love Actually. Relive the film’s magical musical moments with smash hit songs performed by a band of top musicians and superstar artists.

Multi award-winning rock cabaret artist Geraldine Quinn bursts onto our cabaret stage to present BROAD. She cuts an audacious, commanding presence with every powerhouse song.

Kidult superstars The Listies are riotous with their sidesplittingly clever badaptation of Shakespeare’s classic, made just for kids. This is the bard, Listies style: ninjas, ghosts, pirate aliens, swords, dinosaurs, and zombies.
