In “Souvenir,” we embark on an intimate exploration of how our travels leave indelible marks on our minds, manifesting through the sensory touchstones that transport us back to moments of discovery. This editorial journey weaves together the threads of beauty, gastronomy, and lifestyle to examine how cultural encounters become treasured memories that we carry home. Beyond the physical mementos we collect, this story celebrates the intangible souvenirs that travel bestows. Through immersive visuals and thoughtful narrative, we examine how these cultural crossroads become part of our personal heritage, enriching our lives long after the journey ends.
“Souvenir” is an ode to the transformative power of travel – not just in the moments we experience, but in the countless ways these encounters continue to shape our thoughts, preferences, and rituals once we return home.
PROFESSIONAL BIO
An emerging individual in the multidisciplinary design landscape, Montil brings a distinctive Franco-Japanese sensibility to her creative practice. Her bi cultural heritage forms the cornerstone of her design philosophy, infusing her work with a unique perspective that bridges Eastern and Western aesthetic traditions. During her tenure at Whitehouse Institute of Design, Australia, Montil discovered her passion for the intersection of visual communication and design. This dual focus has evolved into a comprehensive creative approach that seamlessly blends multiple design disciplines, from brand identity to fashion concepts. Her work is characterized by a thoughtful synthesis of cultural influences, bringing together the minimalist precision of Japanese design with the expressive flair of French aesthetics. This cross-cultural foundation, combined with her contemporary Australian design education, enables her to create work that resonates across global markets and contexts.
Driven by an insatiable curiosity and commitment to creative growth, Montil consistently seeks opportunities to expand her technical expertise while developing innovative approaches to visual storytelling.
