Concept Statement

Forged in the spirit of chivalry, this collection embodies the fierce elegance of knights armor reimagined where each garment is a shield of confidence and power.

Nocturne is an evening womenswear collection exploring cathedral interiors, the knight archetype and the dynamic line work within manga, particularly dystopian fiction. This is a collection for the modern female warrior—one who carries her vulnerability with pride, and her femininity with defiance. Each garment reimagines armour as a symbol of protection and empowerment, blending it with the fierceness and resilience found within the feminine form. The collection features a minimalistic colour palette of cool blue and shades of grey that evoke the

elegance of weathered cathedral stone and iron. Each garment features asymmetrical structures, exposed boning and draping symbolic of metal sheets of armour. Whilst innovative 3D printing techniques bring a contemporary edge to the designs.

This collection, features a diamond print throughout each garment reminiscent of the geometry on cathedral ceilings. This is combined with crinoline structures and the shapes created fromboning channels. These crinoline wings are further reminiscent of gargoyles with bladed feathers.
