Editor’s Letter RAW LIVING shows us how to curate interiors that reflect our favourite places and experiences in ways that are beautiful and authentic. Vivid photography is supplemented with insightful events and hardworking tips for cultivating your own home/lifestyle. RAW LIVING invites readers to take on the philosophy of a simplistic lifestyle sustainable living, locally sourced, organic and whole. Homes and spaces can be created to support and promote this philosophy. Materials for construction and the styles we choose all play a role in creating a harmonious space. Artful interiors are born from curiosity, creativity and imagination. With evocative photography and
sustainable design advice, RAW LIVING focuses on creating a lifestyle that inspires creativity and functionality. RAW LIVING is about simplicity - how to focus on our values to create authentic interiors full of meaning and joy. BIO Isla Laven is an experienced creative director and stylist. Isla is known for creating design concepts that have the ability to generate powerful and unique consumer experiences. Her versatile design skills were developed and realized in producing a high end fashion publication, creating interior and food editorials for a prominent luxury magazine company and planning a designer exhibition event. Isla has a formidable styling talent and passion to push the boundaries of what is possible in the styling arena. Isla will transcend the norm to bring to life visual storytelling and sensory installations. Isla has worked extensively during her design degree to develop original design concepts, highly effective visual communication, project coordination and leadership, and applied digital design. She is capable of developing client concepts, branding products, planning photoshoots and outsourcing provisions across multiple design industries.
